Being Productive

Hard to get time to post on here now with all the free time I have available. I don’t know what to do with myself. So I have been doing a bit of this and a bit of that.
Went fishing today, caught my first pike, ever, well 2 of them to be exact. This was not by choice. I was on the Trent near Alrewas pulling in a few tiddlers. Suddenly one of these tiddlers (gudgeon) suddenly started to bend my rod and make the fishing line whistle. The poor gudgeon was devoured by a pike which was now also hooked on the line. Quite good battlers pike are, as I now Know.
A few minutes of struggling and it hit the net. Could not see the gudgeon, I think it had already been digested.
Oh well, i will have another go tomorrow, got to make the most of the weather.
