Bassets Pole June 05.07
15/06/2007 by Peter Miller.
Well, once back off the hols I thought it was about time to boot the bike up and take a ride out, it was Tuesday evening 05.07, the weather was brilliant unlike today but that is another story. I was on my third battery and the machine did not disappoint when first started up.
So I took myself and Lyn down to Bassets Pole and what a fine evening it was, it’s just great to look around and see the different types of motorcycle that exist and to take in the atmosphere of the occasion. Would not want to do it every week though, I think it might take the edge of it.
Anyway, I estimate there were around 800 to a 1000 bikes there, well it seemed like it anyway.

THE LAKE DISTRICT - A WEEK OF BLISS
13/06/2007 by Peter Miller.
OK, here goes, how are you people out there, well the 2 people that comment anyway. here are a few photo samples of our latest trip to the Lake District, May 2007. What a fine time it was with some diverse things to do, walking, climbing (small hills), horse riding and fishing and oh yes eating. The weather was fantastic, only half a day of of rain and we both felt fully refreshed. A well needed rest after moving the old folks.
Let me know what you think, all comments welcome, even bad ones if there are any. I have power over any bad ones.
