Thought life would be a doddle in the job club, you know, get up in the afternoon, go down the pub, have a few beers, play pool, come back home to dinner on the table. Well I have come back to earth with a bump. I was completely wrong about people who are shirkers and spend all their time drinkin’, smokin’ and gambling. Surely they only exist as a figment in the imagination of you workers who say things like, “look at him never worked a day in his life and he gets all he wants, new carpets, satellite TV, 2 holidays a year”.

Just joking of course, we all know those people are out there, but hey thats the way of the world and our stupid government. Hope the blog police don’t see that last comment and come and arrest me and throw me in prison, then again at least I would get 3 square meals a day, be able to play pool, go to the gymn and watch satellite TV.

Nope, no luck yet on the job front but the good lady has found me plenty to keep me occupied, all sorts of little jobs that I should of done ages ago. I think they are nearly all done now, whoops better be quiet, there is always something else that can be found.

Going back to the shirkers, yeah it p—– me off when they don’t work and seem to get it all. Me, because I took a temporary contract for my last job now find that I cannot claim on my Mortgage protection (so much for paying that) and the dole possee say I may not be able to claim job seekers because I have only been in work 14 months and may not have racked up enough NI credits.

Looks like I will have to turn to what some of the shirkers do, sell some drugs, beat up an old lady or 3 for 20 pence, get the guitar out in some sleazy subway. Nope forget that I will just spend some time riding my bike. Things are looking up though, got a few irons in the fire.
